Neurodiversity UK is a local independent charity founded in 2013 and supports children, young people, families, educators and health personnel with/working with neurological conditions ranging from mental health to autism (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), to name a few. Neurodiversity UK is a unique charity with three main strands building it’s ethos – Health, Education and Sport. The support provided by Neurodiversity is extensive and holistic. Drop-in mornings provide a safe and secure environment for informal chats and friendship with volunteers and carers qualified in Autism and ADHD. Local councillors provide support in Housing Benefits and any other local issues. Art and craft classes, sensory classes, yoga, health and beauty treatments, educational and awareness courses, private tutor, holiday clubs, fitness classes and boxing.
